Who We Are

A faith-based organisation empowering Nairobi’s youth

IMANI Marianists is a faith-based organisation dedicated to empowering young people through vocational training skills. Situated in the Catholic Archdiocese of Nairobi, we provide technical skills, entrepreneurship, job placement, and microenterprise support to help individuals create a better future.

Founded in 1986, IMANI Marianists started as a family centre supporting women struggling to raise their children. These women gained trade skills to become self-sufficient. Today, through our two training centres and Job Creation Programme, we continue to break the cycle of poverty and build better futures across Nairobi’s communities.

IMANI Marianists has two branches — Maria Training Centre in Eastleigh and Chaminade Training Centre in Mukuru Kwa Njenga. At these institutes, students benefit from job placement experience through our Job Creation Programme — helping break the cycle of poverty.
